The Practice

Sarah is a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist, Life and Business Coach, Motivational Speaker, Trainer and Consultant for RESET, LLC- is "Celebrating Life Restored through Resilience" by "Doing Different Things to Get Different Results.'

Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Sarah is a Doctoral Candidate attending Capella University, and has received a Master of Arts degree from Eastern University, and Bachelor of Arts degree from West Chester University. She has worked in the Mental Health for over 15 years, and officially started RESET, LLC in 2008. Located and licensed in multiple states, Sarah enlightens, educates, and energizes all who utilizes her services beyond the traditional counseling sessions.

Sarah’s counseling style ranges from Cognitive Behavioral, Person Centered, Psychodynamic, Family Systems, and Solution Focused treatments. Sarah’s main goal is to practice holistic approaches in therapy, attending to clients by Mind, Body, and Spirit. Sarah’s loves serving a mix of counseling and coaching techniques with her clients to 1. Remedy the problem, not pacify it, 2. Teach clients how to help themselves, not depend on others for solutions, 3. Help clients to no longer be ‘stuck’ in their defeated cycles and patterns. Sarah helps clients to learn how to embrace, accept, and acknowledge their core issues to provide beneficial options to create new healthy lifestyles and patterns for themselves. Sarah’s personality and wit creates an atmosphere conducive for clients to feel safe, open, real, and tangible to her.

Sarah is a sought after Motivational Speaker for numerous events, and special guest for Television and Radio, in particular Praise 103.9 FM Philadelphia radio and Comcast Channel 28.Currently, Sarah has hosted her own internet blog radio show, RESET MY LIFE TODAY With SARAH, discussing relevant topics like marital issues, love and relationships, and parenting skills. Although her specialties are many, Sarah takes pride in serving Married and Engaged Couples, the Depressed, and Women. Other specialties include Mood and Personality Stabilization, Grief and Loss, Behavioral Modification for children and teens, and Family Cohesion.

Sarah produced and hosts the successful RESET MY Marriage and Relationship ASAP Retreats annually to help RESTORE, RECONCILE, AND RECONNECT couples in their relationships. Check out www.reset-mylife.net for previous retreats.

Sarah enjoys coaching women in strategy planning towards starting their businesses, conducting stress management for state employees dealing with job closures, not to mention Grief and Loss trainings, marriage and family clinical counseling for major churches in the Tri-State areas.

As of 2012, Sarah has expanded her practice to Licensed and Graduate Counselors and Social Workers, as well as developing a Clinical Internship Program geared to help prospective clinicians earn licensure for the states of Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland. Her goal is to train clinicians to serve others beyond her reach.

Sarah will become licensed in Washington D.C. and start RESET, LLC in 2012.

Personally, Sarah devotes her time volunteering for the Domestic Violence Group as First Response Advocate and the Alzheimer's Association as Advocate and Speaker, which she is currently developing Mary’s Mighty Miracles Foundation in honor of her mother, Mary. She is also an Actress and Model d.b.a. ‘Sarah Renee’ for numerous stage plays and fashion shows. When she has spare time, Sarah loves traveling, singing, dancing, praying, and writing.
